Joy recently received his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati in Ohio. He was honored by the College of Design, Architecture, Art & Planning, making the Dean’s List from 2015-2019 when is was an undergraduate. In 2020, Joy received a certificate in Healthier Materials and Sustainable Buildings from the Parsons School of Design in New York City.

Joy joins CCY with a focus on graphics and project documentation. He utilizes his multi-disciplinary background to stay inspired. Engaging with photography, graphic design, and architecture offers new perspectives; and the knowledge from one discipline helps him elevate the other in a symbiotic way.

Joy’s design and photography skills have also been recognized. Most recently, he was awarded first place in the DOCOMOMO United States Architectural Photography Contest. In a digital world, taking an ‘analogue break’ and getting outside helps Joy restart and get inspired.
