Olivia Klotz

Designer, LEED GA

Olivia received her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago and also attended the Danish Institute for Study Abroad in Copenhagen. After graduating, she wasted no time in acquiring LEED accreditation and embarking on her professional journey.

Her work experience began in Illinois where she designed and led both large and small commercial interior projects. In Boulder, Colorado, an apprenticeship gave her the opportunity to collaborate on the design and building of custom camper vans.

Olivia’s volunteer work includes four years with Ronald McDonald House and Herman Miller’s annual holiday event, “We Care,” a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, both in Denver. She also participated in the Modern in Denver: Design in Bloom, an architecturally inspired floral displays competition.

In 2018, Olivia began her self-titled “Solo Travel Sabbatical” backpacking adventure across three continents. Via Asia, Europe, and South America, she returned to the U.S. to solo hike the Pacific Crest Trail. During her travels she found time to volunteer and mentor in Peru and other locales.
